sent me a note if I could do a warriors-scene for Priscilla Ahn's song "Dream"... And that's what happened.
Some more Hollyleaf-fanart. I didn't read The Last Hope, yet, so please forgive me if there are some mistakes with the setting or something.I think I'm going to cry when I read this scene
I liked Hollyleaf, despite her obsession with the Warrior Code and all the wrong decisions she made. She was a good cat after all and she was one of many cats that didn't deserve to die. By the way... did you notice, that she died the same way she killed Ashfur?? I wonder if it's a coincidence or not.Anyway, I hope you like it... I don't know what to say about this pic, or this scene other than Hollyleaf should've lived after all she's been through.
And I really feel sorry for Leafpool at that point. At least the last words her daughter spoke were meant to make things right. She knew her daughter accepted her as a mother eventhough Leafpool couldn't be there for them..... Right in the feels... Neyt upload will be some Star Trek Fanart... and a new comicpage!! Whooot!!^^

story:
after the great battle between the apprentices quest at a gathering after bramble star get his loves he announces hollyleaf died. Crowfeather stared shock pulsing through him. "H h hollyleaf I is ded?" He stammered. "Why do you care?" Nightcloud hissed The windclan leader stared calmly. He knew what crowfeather had done. Sympathy shone in his eyes. Crowfeather stared at leafpool his eyes glazed with grief. "I I I cound't save her there was just too much blood" she mowed her voice a whisper. Her sister Squirrelflight pressed against her to support her sister. Crowfeather turned to his leader. "May I stay in thunder clan for a while "he mewed his voice trembling. "Leafpool" he murmured "this is my fault" his voice breaking. "No it's mine I should have explained that I was having your kits sooner so that you were prepared." Crowfeather stared "no you should never have tried to run away with me in the first place I should have kept you in thunderclan." Leafpool padded to him. She pressed her pelt against his. she licked the side of his cheek. "I wanted to." She murmured. Mightcloud hissed "get away from him he's mine I took him when you refused!" She snarled. "You're right... I chose my clan. But I still loved him. While hollyleaf was training she reminded me so much of you crowfeather except her eyes. She sighed one day she would see her daughter again when it was her time and when all of them dies they would be a family like crowfeather originally wanted.

I didn't even read the description. This is from the Last Hope where Hollyleaf jumps between Hawkfrost and Ivypool. Ivypool noticed, after she drove off the other Dark Forest warriors, that Hollyleaf's neck was cut open. Ivypool carried Hollyleaf back to the camp. Then that's where this scene comes in. And to those of you who said Hollyleaf deserved it, well, no, she didn't. She was trying to protect Jayfeather and Lionblaze from that stupid hairball Ashfur who had a thought like, "Oh, Brambleclaw is their father so they should die just because they weren't mine." Well, even so, that was NOT the case. All that drama, when Leafpool and Crowfeather were actually their parents. JESUS I know. I went on a rant but seriously. To sum it up, HOLLYLEAF DID NOT DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! DX DX DX

Why.... It could be Lionblaze. I would be really happy if it would be Lionblaze instead of Hollyleaf.
I'm strating to think Erins don't like strong female characters. Everytime there is one either she has to gone mad (Blustar) or have completly destroyed life ( Squirrelflight and again Blustar), be moved to the backround (Sandstorm), became bad (Mapleshde), kill someone (Ivypool and Mapleshade) or get killed (Hollyleaf).
In fact the only not annoyingly sweet female characters who got quite a lot of screentime and didn't get their lives tottaly messed up are... no the're not such she cats in this series.

I've noticed a lot of sexism in the warriors series. For example, compare how many female mates died to male mates. Also females don't seem to have much of a personality. They can be nice or sharp tongued.

Yup that annoyed me a lot. I don't have anything against male characters but I really like reading about female characters with depth. And here it was like they were only to make babies, have tragic plot, being annoying or be Mapleshade. And coming to this why we've got only one true female villan. Like come on, girls can be badass too. Of course they were some good and intersing she cat characters but they usually died before we could really get to know them. Or they've turned mad.

There are many flaws in the warrior series. Sexism is one of them. All the females are the same. Eg. Yellowfang, Sandstorm, Squrrielflight and Mousefur all have the same personality, sarcastic and sharp tongued. Cinderpelt, Feathertail, Leafpool and Ferncloud are nice and loving.

I sorta agree, but you make them seem one-faced. All the cats you've mentioned (except for Mousefur and Ferncloud, I guess, but they were side characters) have shown more personality than just "sarcastic" or "loving". Feathertail spat uncharacteristically at Purdy in Midnight, Leafpool and Cinderpelt spat at each other at Twilight, Cinderpelt even leaped at Leafpool claws outstretched; Leafpool was described by Jayfeather to act irritable and angrily. In Yellowfang's Secret, it really showed her character development, from her somewhat-innocent self to the sarcastic cat she is now. Squirrelflight and Sandstorm have both been shown as gentle on several characters. They are not flat characters.
