Soooo, after almost 3 years I finally (!!!) found a good perspective to go with this scene. *-* I wanted to draw this for so long now... Every since the song came out.
To the picture: It's a scene from the book "Dangerous Path", where Bluestar saves Fireheart from the dogs by throwing herself at the leader of the dogpack and knocking him off the gorge and into the river. Yeah I know, it said that she threw herself head-first into the dog's flank, but I wanted it to look more dramatic. I wanted her to face her enemy without fear. I almost started crying when I read that scene for the first time, because I just knew that Bluestar was about to die and I really loved her character. Despite her ever-growing psychosis and paranoia after Tigerclaw's attempt to kill her. In that moment she was strong and rational again and could see clearly like she used to... and it just made me tear up, because she must've known that this would be her end. And she was ready to give her last life for the sake of her Clan.
In my opinion Bluestar had one of the best character-developments during the books (her super-edition included) and I didn't realize how much I miss her in the new books, until I re-read this scene.

Anyway... As always: I hope you like this little, spontaneous piece as much as I do. And for those who ask: No, her eyes are not violet, they're blue...They just appear to be violet because of the slighty violet-colored light I put into the picture.

Next upload will be the cover for the third chapter of my fancomic And maybe a little fanart for Colleen Houck's "Tiger's Curse". Any fans out there?? I'm reading the second book at the moment and I think I fell head over heels for Ren <3
