"What if somebody wanted you to stay?!" Klonoa yelled, trying his best to hold back an inevitable flood of tears. He strared long and hard at the other cabbit, waiting for a response.
"Lunetea needs someone to rule Hyuphonia, and that's me. I am the King of Sorrow...It wouldn't matter who they were... I can't stay." the King turned and started walking away. He would be gone soon enough.

"Not... Not even if that somebody were me?"Klonoa barely squeaked out.

Red eyes softened, and Sorrow turned to face Klonoa onece more."No, not even you can stop me form returning, dream traveller Klonoa. If there were something I could have done to stay, I would have done it already."

Klonoa couldn't look anymore. He sniffed and a hiccup accidentally slipped out.

Sorrow walked back to the boy and embraced him gentley.
"Klo'a," he brushed a stray tear away, but the use of that nickname only caused Klonoa to replace it mith more. "Crying doesn't suit you..."
"Y-you neither, Ou-s-sama." Klonoa tried to smile.

The King sighed, the hand that brushed the younger cabbit's tear away now cupping his face.
Klonoa looked up into Sorrow's eyes pleadingly.
The green cabbit pulled their faces close, but chaanged his mind at the last second and placed a feather light kiss on Klonoa's cheek.
"Good luck." he said, fingers ghosting along the dream traveler's arms to his yellow gloved hands. They held hands, a soft smile on the King's lips and admirative look in his gaze, and Klonoa with his eyes closed and face solemn.

Sometimes you can just tell if someone is there or has left. It's kind of like a spiritual connection of some sort.

Klonoa stood alone in a large field.
And as the sone shone brightly high above, it began to rain.

What hurts the most was being so close
and having so much to say and watching you walk away.
And never knowing what could have been.
And not seeing that loving you, is what I was trying to do

I don't like much about Klonoa here... But I did like KoS XD And besides, it was a quick picture... So, yeah XD

'Kay, I call KoS "the King" or "Sorrow" 'cause "Ou-sama" is just a nickname Klonoa gave to him. Just like "Klo'a" is a nickname.
Well, actually, it's just the way I heard Klonoa pronounced in the games lD

Oh, and I'm not entirely sure what place it's called that KoS ruled or whatever, but I took a guess. So, don't hate meee >.< I'll fix it when I find out.
