Description As she finished off a letter to her cousin, she started her diary entry. She wrote about the summer she had been spending at her Uncle's summer home. She wrote about the people she had met, the dances she had attended. She wrote about a person from her past whom she could not forget, though their last parting had been a bitter and hurtful one. She wrote about the hurt, and she wrote about her hope.

Just as she was writing his name one last time, she looked up through the grand window she had positioned herself in front of, and there he strolled along the garden hedge. She could not believe her eyes.

Just had to get some regency out of my system. Did this in about two hours. Whew. LANDSCAPES ARE HAAARD.

This is really beautiful. The colors are so bright, and the perspective was very well done. The lady's hair and dress are rather pretty, as is the surrounding environment with the indoor furniture, curtains, and the bay window that overlooks the front garden. But something that makes this piece even more special is the storytelling aspect to it in that highlights a human event; the arrival of the gentleman off in the distance. Wonderfully done. A very excellent period piece!

Nice! Very Austen, if you don't mind me saying.

Beautiful picture. It's got that special feel, where it's almost like one of those watercolours they did at the time.

Was it based on anything in particular, or was that your writing as well?

Eh, I guess based on every Jane Austen novel EVAR, but mostly put together in my own mind. Thanks for the complements!

I thought as much! It had a Jane Austen feel to it. Which I muchly like. And much respect for it. It made me interested in the potential story. And you are very much welcome.

This is really wonderful, somewhat nostalgic, yet uplifting. It is truly unique, as is all of your art.

thank you. Yes, I felt all those things while I was completing it. But indeed, it is an unwritten story.
