Description
While working on a written review of the Equestria Girls Holiday Special , the question came up about Sunset's parents. I wondered who they might have been and how they reacted after she left Equestria.Rather than a sane answer, I opted for the what a twist! option. Thus this comic is born!

I read your review about that god awful and I hate that comic with a passion. Seriously the Equestria Girls comic shouldn't have been called a holiday special as I see as a Sunset torture story and the one who wrote that comic is a fucking idiot. Seriously there were so many things wrong with that piece of garbage I don't know where to start. Also no offense Silver but I didn't find this funny.

Interesting idea. Actually i rather assumed that Sunburst and Sunset were students in Celestia's School at the same time and wasn't related but... this is interesting option too.
And English isn't my native language so I wonder... what "hoofful" was exactly intendend to mean?

Well, they do share a sun motif. I guess that's where Starlight got her reformed villain idea from.

Celspex came up with the great concept of Sunset being the friend who Starlight lost instead of Sunburst, in which case their sudden disappearance would make sense considering where Sunset was during that whole time.

I don't who is the worst parents. Sunburst's or my headcannon version of Starlight's.

I personally enjoyed seeing people come up with interpretations and idealizations for this fanon since after S5's finale.
My only nitpick is that the parents would have markings on mom's lower legs (though to be fair they'd prooobably be cropped off the bottom) and on dad's face between the eyes, since ideally, that's where Sunburst would've inherited them from.
