It's been a while since we've last seen one of these, hasn't it?

So this was an idea that came from reading Sabrina Online with a group of friends. It's a really old webcomic that dates back from 1996. One of the comics contained the classic shoulder angel and devil trope which left me like, why have I never done that with Moonbeam? So I wanted to apply that concept to one of my own comics, but I needed a good setup for it. Then I immediately thought what could be more tempting than a shiny, red button?

I'm hoping the punchline here makes sense. It took tons and tons of revisions get it right. I had an alternate punchline in mind where the button was a reset button, and pressing it would restart the series from episode one. You know, where the storybook opens with "Once upon a time..." and it tells the story of Celestia banishing her own sister. That didn't work out too well so I fell back onto the original idea of this being an off switch. Live and learn I suppose.

Angel and Devil Moonbeam were a lot of fun to draw. One of the things I've always loved about Moonbeam's character design is that it can be easily tweaked to fit any situation, and this is definitely no exception.

What's probably more evil than Devil Moonbeam herself is the "cease and desist" sign. I love how it's based on Hasbro's logo. xD

And a quick update on the Sisterhood arc. I'm afraid that's been cancelled. I was originally super excited to introduce Membrane to the world, but ultimately I just wasn't happy with how the story was turning out. Maybe I'll reintroduce her at some point in a one-off comic, but don't expect the storyline to ever pick up again. :/
