Description Make love not war!

This was made for the Seven Deadly Sins contest held by

Characters based on 'The Witcher Saga' novels by Andrzej Sapkowski and The Witcher games by CD Projekt.

All I have to say about this one is: MY HAND HURTS. I spent entirely too long on this and I'm still not satisfied with some of the textures, but I have to stop working on it or I'll scream. Sooo... enjoy

How on Earth did I manage NOT to notice this beautiful piece of art??
Great job on the lightning and the skin tones and the textures! I particularly love the fur, it feels so soft! Also, the perspective that you chose is great for this scene! Marvelous job my friend!
The only thing I would dare to point out is the hands, which seem a bit...unnatural in shape...but that's the only problem I saw, overall this is a great piece of digital art!

Yeah, I do, and yeah, I completely suck at it. I'm aware of this and I am practicing to try and get better. Really, I swear, even though it doesn't much look like it sometimes. Lol. I especially was having trouble with the perspective in this, which complicated things a bunch.
If you have any suggestions that might help me, I would be happy to hear them. ^_^

here you go-> [link] some easy video tutorials about anatomy basics This should help you You're talented, that's obvious, but there's still long way ahead to master skillshard work and sweat, but it;s worth it, believe me I'm not awesome but already I see progress in what was my females 2 years ago and what are they now (I mean drawings of course xD) Do your research for reference stuff and train your skills

I've been working with gimp for about 4 months or so. Too broke for photoshop, Haha, so I tried a bunch of free programs. Gimp was the one that stuck. If you wanna see something completely hilarious, you should check out some of my first attempts. They're absolutely horrendous, *groan* and very embarassing, I should take them down, but then there'd be I'd be cheating some people out of some prime blackmail material.
I'm getting a little better, cuz there are nice people here (like yourself), that give me a helpful prod when I'm stuck with something.
I didn't realize before the kind of patience you digitally creative artists have! This learning process has certainly given me a new found respect for you all, that's for sure. I just don't have that sort of patience; I'm more an instant gratification type girl. Lol. But digital colors are so much prettier to play with...

The light source and the soft lines and shading really work well together to create a dreamy kind of atmosphere. I really like the softness of the fur blanket, just enough detail there to suggest the mass of fur. The hair is another high point. Well done!

Thank you for your comments! Especially the bit about the blanket. I have major trouble depicting texture in my digital work, so I worked really hard on it. Sadly, the texture of the clothing leaves a lot to be desired. *sighs*
