i dunno i made it kind of for fun.. it took me forever to do that bubbly writing backwards [with the colored outlines] but i think it looks cool. would definitely change some colors and such if i could redo it.the orange bit is lyrics from "99 red balloons" by nena [but that summer it was goldfinger]...

the green bits are from "i.o.u. one galaxy"...

you were seventeen and i was fifteen and i think that was my favourite summer yet.

Hum... I already commented on the revamped version, but since this is an older post, I get to comment again.
Instead of repeating that I like it once more, I'll secound Trish-the-Stalker's comment: did you know that the original song is by a german group named Nena? Initially, it was in german (which is why Goldfinger sings a verse, repeated, both in english and in german) but Nena made an english version. Ironically, the german-sung single was the one to make it to number one in the american boards.
I like a lot the song and the lyrics, and how it is sung in its different versions. I tend to like the harder sounds, so Goldfinger's is nice with me, but Nena's original version is the proof that german, if sung properly, can be soft and nice to the ear.

hehe, you're right, it isn't often that german is sung pleasantly. i did later discover [probably through that comment] that it was by nena, but the version i had listened to all that summer was by goldfinger and it sort of mattered in a funny way to me. but of course you're right, and i appreciate the correction. you sound like you know your stuff, too!

I love that song, but I like the original more. I like this picture, but I don't think there is enough stuff in the bottom half of the picture. Still, it looks like some old Beatles doodle or something, you know like from the Yellow Submarine movie.
