Venus was invented for the mid-90s live-action show "Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation", which supposedly takes place after the movies (albeit loosely). She's hated by many TMNT fans (including co-creator Peter Laird) for the following reasons:

1. The creators insisted there must never be a fifth turtle (which happens to be why Mona Lisa from the 80s cartoon is a lizard)

2. The showΒ changed the story to sayΒ the turtles aren't related in order to make Venus a love interest for the turtles (mainly for Leo)

3. Venus had no ninja training whatsoever (all she did was use weak magic attacks)

4. The show was terrible, having disposed of Shredder almost right away (Venus uses a mindΒ spell that does nothing other than twist his mind)Β and replaced him with a Dragonlord, a poacher, and a vampire (none of which were from any incarnation of TMNT).

5. The show gave a hint of Shredder's return, but was canceled before it could happen. (just like the 2007 film "TMNT")

I don't really know...it is pretty sad but at least she got more attention unlike my favorite charector Mona Lisa because @ least Venus got to be in EVERY single episode of the next mutation

I liked the version of TMNT she came from, but me and my bro watched it (my first time) and we saw some fails that made us laugh, like when she had the robe, I SAW she had her turtle suit on XD

I really love this. I add it as a favorite. I heard about Venus. She is from the old ninja turtles. If the nick company had to pick someone to draw/animate/sketch Venus, THEN I WOULD PICK YOU! YOU ARE SO GOOD AT DRAWING VENUS!
