I dunno abt Pokemon Gold or Silver, I only played HG and I think it's reeeally epic how we get to battle the legendary trainer Red on top of Mt. Silver... But hey how about Leaf? Isn't she as legendary as Red is? Also, Leaf will die of hypothermia if she ventured into Mt Silver's peak wearing only her tank top and skirt. She's a smart and practical girl, yknow.
The Pokemon Multiverse Theory has been more or less confirmed in ORAS, after Zinnia said she lives in Hoenn region, but a different Hoenn region. Well that just supports my headcannon, that in a world somewhere, Leaf, Red's female counterpart, is the legendary pokemon trainer and champion. I have many fond memories in playing Fire Red and of course I've grown attached and proud of Leaf (my player)'s achievements. However in the game canon there are no other mentions of Leaf; only Red. So I made this fan art in recognition of Leaf as the Pokemon champion in... some multiverse I mean srsly for the girls who have used the female characters in playing the Pokemon games, isn't it even a teensy bit sad that the male trainer gets the recognition in the game canon while the female trainer is just.... idk... unacknowledged?
Also, I haven't beaten Red is HG

Simply put, this is gorgeous! The colorings and falling snow are incredible and truly serves to create the drama of facing down the champion on Mt. Silver. I totally agree that the female trainers deserve more recognition than they get. The idea of a multiverse is a really cool concept too

I love this drawing and the idea behind it.
I was hoping for a return of the Leaf-Trainergirl in Sun/Moon together with Red & Blue but sadly she's not there...
The idea of her being the champ in one world is nice. Especially since Pokémon confirmed the multiverse-theory for their worlds in OR/AS
Great work on this drawing. It brings me a lot of positive feelings and memories from the first generations.

Too bad this isn't canon. Wouldn't have been hard to have her on Mt. Silver in HG/SS if you picked the female character.
And no, she isn't as legendary as Red is in the game canon or in real life. She only appeared as a female character in FR/LG to appease those who want to pick a female character. She has yet to appear in HG/SS, B2/W2, or Sun/Moon, and likely never will.
Also, when Zinnia is talking about there being another Hoenn, she is talking about the GBA Hoenn region, which is in a separate universe from the remakes. Here are the three universes in the game series:
RBY -> GSC
RSE and FRLG -> DPPt and HGSS -> BW ->B2/W2
ORAS -> XY -> Sun and Moon
The third universe is the one we are currently in, and there is still no Leaf around since Red is the legendary trainer whether you pick male or female in Sun/Moon.

Well she IS a female Red. All of Red's achievements, she also did since if you play as the girl, you're the one who stopped Team Rocket and became the strongest trainer in Kanto.
I kind of believe in the Pokemon Multiverse theory since there are always two separate games that happen in one world, but with slight differences, at the same time.

Omg! I love it! I wrote my dramatic retelling of my play through of Leaf Green with Lady Blue (I'm going with japanese names) the only difference is instead of Lyra (not that I dislike our mario cosplayer girl : P )I went with Original Crystal Kris (I have confirmed the 2 are different girls). My Lady Blue is a badarse & psychic, and I even mentioned little Ms. Yellow her no.1 fan, and she fought Missingno. and Red (the battle with Red is never revealed who won.)

Wow, this looks awesome. Pity that HGSS didnt let us choose previous champion story ala Raven from Kotor2. Or even better - reading original save. It would have been in fact awesome to have your character as a champion with your previous team xD
