Interesting design. I'm fascinated at how they still retain the traditional theropod anatomical structure yet are vaguely humanoid with their erect, vertical stance. Do you consider that such a stance will be necessary for intelligent beings derived from animals used to living with bodies aligned horizontally?

This is an excellent, excellent version of the dino-sapient! I'm most impressed, actually, by the natural, realistic pose you've given him, and the care with which you rendered the hands and feet. (My only quibble is with the eyes - you just need a few brighter highlights on them to imply wetness.)

Also, having the shadow come from the top, to imply depth. It might not be technically correct, but I've always done it as a kind of visual shortcut. It seems to work...
