Occupation:  Hired Thief | Fist Fighter | Member of the Kabu Syndicate

If you need something stolen, Marcel is your guy. He loves to see humans unhappy and if stealing their things and causing an small uproar or two is a way to make them upset, then he'll gladly do it with a smile on his face. While he may not make a lot of cash from stealing, he manages to make some money on the side by winning fist fights against humans. He'll often go to small town competitions and compete to earn money. Marcel is also a member of the Kabu Syndicate and doesn't hesitate to do any missons he recieves from them.

Marcel also makes frequent visits to Lumiose City and the Glittering Caves, as most of his business comes from there.

.:: Appearance ::.
 Scruffy in the Face | Nicely Dressed | Business-Like

Marcel stands at the fair height of 5'8" and weighs in at around roughly 135 lbs. He usually chooses to keep a little scruff around his chin, as he thinks that it adds more character to his face. He has long green hair that he usually keeps in a ponytail. Marcel really fancies the finer clothes and chooses to usually sport a small button up vest, a tie tucked below, with a long-sleeved dress shirt underneath. He'll also usually wear an overcoat with most of his outfits since it makes him feel far more comfortable. He's almost never seen without his green bowler hat. While he wears glasses normally, he usually switches to contacts if he's about to fight or is going to do a job.

Height: 5'8"

.:: Personals ::.
.:: Personality ::.
 Sado-Masochistic | Serious | Blunt | Cruel | Sneaky/Crafty | Focused

Ever since his trainer abandoned him, Marcel's been a rather cold individual. He despises humans and feels like they are all selfish and just use Pokemon for their own gain. He feels like Pokemon are far superior to humans and that they should be in charge instead. Marcel isn't one to beat around the bush and, as such, he can be very blunt when people ask him questions or present things to him. If you want the brutally honest truth, you can find it from Marcel.

Due to his history with his past trainer, Marcel has developed a touch of Sado-Masochism. He's been talked down so much and smacked around enough that, at this point, he accepts and even welcomes insults and abuse. While he may enjoy getting verbally and sometimes physically abused, he feels that in the end it'll help him grow as a Pokemon. On the flip side, he also likes to give pain to others and release his pent up emotions on others. This can make him a tad unstable sometimes, but his sadistic side is normally kept under control.

Marcel has a powerful drive to become strong. He was abandoned for being "too weak" and has been set to prove to, not only his trainer, but the whole world that he is strong, stronger than any human. He's dead set on this goal and doesn't falter in trying to achieve it. This also contributes to his serious attitude. He doesn't want to play around and when there is something to get done, he's going to make sure that it's done with no funny business in between.

Marcel isn't afraid of hurting the feelings of others and hasn't really developed a solid enough relationship with anyone to actually care if he did offend someone. He can be underhanded and isn't afraid to stab someone in the back. It's best to be wary when trying to get close to someone like him. However, that doesn't mean it's impossible to develop a relationship with him. Just because he's cold and blunt doesn't mean he isn't a talker. He enjoys making plans and talking about his goals for the future. Humoring him in his ramblings is always a good way to get him to open up to you.

.:: History ::.
"Why aren't you stronger?!"

Contrary to his cold demeanor now, Marcel used to be a very kind Pokemon. When he was young, prior to his evolution, Marcel lived happily as a Shroomish within the Petalburg Woods of the Hoenn region. Shroomish weren't very plentiful in the Petalburg Woods at the time, so Marcel was fairly lonely. He would occasionally play with other Pokemon, but was quick to hide if he saw trainers treading through the woods. One day, when he had wandered too far into the tall grass, an older trainer who had been searching for a Shroomish ended up capturing him while he was off guard.

It wasn't long before he discovered that the man who caught him was the father of a small boy who was just old enough to receive his first Pokemon. Released from the Pokeball, Marcel and the boy came face to face. The boy embraced him happily and from that moment on the two of them were great friends.

Marcel grew up with the boy. The two battled together playfully and Marcel kept the boy safe. He watched the boy grow and he truly loved him. He felt happy. Him and the boy's family eventually moved to Kalos just before the boy turned 13. However, things began to fly south when the boy became a teenager. He learned more about competitive battling and started to train Marcel harder so that the two of them could battle in the more competitive scene. When he thought Marcel was ready, he took on the first Pokemon gym and him and Marcel lost miserably. The poor Shroomish was too afraid to fight and even when he did use his moves, they just weren't very powerful.

At first, the boy wasn't very upset. It was just one loss. He could try again. He even taught him Substitute through TM, thinking that if Marcel knew he wouldn't be the one getting hit that he'd be able to fight. However, the second try resulted in another loss. As did the third and the fourth. Marcel grew irritated. He was only fourteen at the time, but he was furious at his losses.

"Why aren't you stronger!?" he snapped at Marcel. He would hit the tiny Shroomish and yell at him in anger. Marcel didn't know what to think. He tried to train on his own to get strong, but nothing helped. He kept losing and losing until the boy was fed up.

"You're too weak! I can't use you! Get lost. I'll find a better Pokemon to take your place!" he said as he released Marcel into the forests of Kalos. Marcel didn't know what to do. At first, he sat alone in the woods blaming himself for being abandoned, but then he came to a realization when he saw his trainer out training with another Pokemon that he was just using Pokemon. He didn't care about them. He just wanted to win. A rage started to build in Marcel and he started to hate humans. To him, all they wanted was to just use Pokemon for their own benefits. They didn't actually care about Pokemon.

"I'll show him...I'll show all humans how strong I can be," Marcel promised himself. He spent months and months in the wild training and making himself stronger until the day that he evolved into a Breloom. Then, one day, when he was rummaging through a warehouse for one of the technology companies in search of something to eat, he came across a device with Dittech written on it. Inspecting the device, he accidentally pressed a button on it and in a moment he was transformed into a human. At first, he was shocked by transformation, but then he realized that this was a great opportunity. With this he could show humans on a whole new level on how strong he really was.

It took him quite some time to get used to this new body. Moving around as a human was strange and he had more than his share of difficulties with human clothing. After a while of experimenting with the body on his own, he decided that it would be ok for him to start going out in public. He started to travel all over Kalos and would train frequently. He started to discover underground fight clubs and such where people could get paid for showing their strength. Marcel was quick to participate.

However, Marcel started to hear word from other Pokemon of some gang that had formed that fought to go against humans which were hiding out somewhere near Ambrette Town. He investigated further and his findings led him to the Glittering Caves. Stepping into the depths of the caverns, he discovered the headquarters for the Kabu Syndicated and inquired about what exactly they were doing. Showing great interest in the Syndicate's goals, he asked if he could join and told them that he would gladly do any task that meant the downfall of humankind. After he joined the Syndicate, Marcel fell into theft and would frequently steal things for money.

My intro post from a demon RP on another site ^^":

There was an icy cold feeling running through the room. Muscles tense. Body steady, yet unmoving. All was quiet. It was an eerie silence that washed over what most could only call a prison. They say that the depths of Hell are filled with fire and brimstone, but that is far from the truth. In the deepest catacombs of Hell, there is an ice like no other that imprisons those who are too dangerous even for the havoc of Hell. Some would say that being frozen away in a room is a curse, but to some demons being locked down there is a silent honor. To travel through the catacombs is an awe inspiring experience where young demons can witness the greatest of the great enshrined for all eternity.

In one of the deepest corridors of this museum of ancients lay the demon, Adreii. His body hung in midair, suspended in a giant pillar of ice. His body was curled like a child in the womb. His large horns curled tightly around his ears and his thick tail swirled in a downward spiral to the base of the pillar. His wings were nowhere to be seen, but this was not a surprise. Demons can hide their wings, after all, and Adreii had done so mere moments before his imprisonment. A mixture of dark markings ran over his body, with different symbols appearing every so often down his back and arms.

A young demon stood at the edge of Adreii's frozen prison and looked at him in amazement. "To think that even a master of sin could be locked away. I feel like it's such a waste and the stories of him never made it sound like he would be one to agree to being locked away for a millennium. If only a demon as powerful as he could come back some day...," he mused, placing a gentle hand against the thick, yet transparent wall of glass that enclosed Adreii's room. The demon sighed, a cloud of his breath lightly dissipating against the ice.

It was in that moment that a soft rumble began underneath the demon's feet. At first, it just felt like the average quakes of Hell, but then it grew more and more severe. He pulled his hand away from the ice and took a step back, a shock spreading over him. It was in that moment of fear for what the next second held that he looked up and saw that something was wrong with Adreii's room of ice. The wall started to crack. Slowly at first then faster. Faster and louder it grew until the pillar holding Adreii started to break. The body within started to move. The movements were sluggish, almost painful. The symbols on his body glowed a brilliant orange-yellow shade, like a powerful fire rested within the demon. The pillar ceased its cracking and suddenly began to melt away. Adreii's body slowly started to move more and more until his limbs were free. His eyes snapped open, a piercing amber gazed over the room. Long black locks of hair, now damp from ice, fell over his chest.

The demon outside backed against the wall, eyes wide. "He's free...," he breathed, trembles rushing through him. He fled the room in an instant, knowing he must tell someone.

Adreii's time in the prison didn't last long. His body continued to glow until the ice was completely gone and before the beast could so much as utter a snicker at his freedom a rift tore in the top of his cell. His smile disappeared in an instant as his body was ripped into the void, only to be taken somewhere unknown.

He felt his body flying higher and higher and a powerful heat started to brush against his skin. He stared forward and saw for a moment his destination. It looked to be some old shop, something human. Just as his portal pushed him into this new world, the fire around him quelled and he stood to his full height, an intimidating 6'10" monster. He turned abruptly and his gaze soon fell upon what looked to be a young man. He emitted a brief laugh before staring the man in the eyes and snickering in a booming voice:

"I'm free."
