Puke Buzzards were only seen in the most horrible of circumstances -- they winged in and sat on the houses of those guilty of committing incest or some other equally heinous crime. Once there, they waited for the person to come out, and then vomited on that person. The puke could not be washed off, was bilious in color, and reeked like nothing else on earth. The Puke Buzzard would wait forever if necessary, until it could do its duty, and there was no way to drive one off. It would sit on the home like a grim marker of the sin committed, puking all over the roof while it waited for its target to come out.
