Birthday: Exact date unknown; Asherah was born hundreds of years ago; her people have extremely long lives.

Eyes: Azure Blue in color, Rather large and exotic

Hair: White and Long, reaching to her mid-lower back. All of it is braided towards the back of her head, except for two braids left on either side of her face.

Skin: An even Light Brown tone, Tribal looking tattoos decorate the areas around her eyes

Build: Athletic. Atlanteans are very active people and are thus in very good shape. Asherah is not overly muscular and does have some nice curves on her body.

Likes: Because Asherah is, in effect, trapped underwater, studying ancient star charts is a particularly favorite activity of hers. They are a way for her to escape the submerged city and fascinate her because the skies are hidden from her. Asherah loves to lose herself dancing to the pounding music of drums and feel the vibrations on her skin.

Dislikes: Ever since the occurrence of the earth quake that sank Atlantis and killed her mother, Asherah has had a fear of them, although she tries not to show it. Because of the earthquake parts of the city were destroyed, people lost their homes and are struggling to recover from the disaster. Asherah hates to see her people hurting and in such circumstances. She can be a bit of a perfectionist. When she takes on a project or activity, she will work on it until she gets everything right. If she is unable to do so she will get frustrated and upset. (she hates doing things incorrectly)

Strong Points: Asherah is very courageous; she will do anything to make sure her people are safe and protected even putting her own life in jeopardy. She can think quickly and make good choices under pressure; this is an advantage for her both in politics and in battle. She is also determined and does not easily give up; she will follow a goal she has set until it is completed. Asherah is an inquisitive person, giving her a thirst for knowledge and making her a good scholar and explorer.

Asherah isn’t a sad person, there are many things that she enjoys to do and that make her happy, she just worries about her people and takes her responsibilities seriously. She is a curious person and likes to either spend her time studying the history of her city, or interacting with her people. Although she is a mature young woman, she still has much to learn. She is very smart and makes good decisions, but she can be stubborn and has trouble seeing past her own opinions.

Outfit Description: Sailor Atlantis’ outfit is not in the style of the traditional fuku. The only part of her uniform that is the same is the sailor collar, it is light grey. Her choker is made of brown leather. Her top is blue, doesn’t cover her shoulders, and shows her midriff. It fully covers her chest, and is accented with net-like sections that cover her ribcage and wrap around her upper arms. Her arms are covered with a tight light grey sheath with cut outs that show her skin. Her skirt is ankle length and has two long slits up to her hip. Her waist is accented with a belt made of grey stones, under it wears another belt with one long tassel. She is barefoot and brown cords wrap around her shins.

Attack 1: Cataclysmic Annihilation!

Description: Sailor Atlantis shouts the incantation, plants her feet in a wide stance, and raises her arms over her head, reaching to the sky. There is a subtle change in the wind and thunder clouds gather. Lightning flashes and then the earth starts to shake. The shaking becomes more violent and the ground cracks. Massive amounts of water flood out of the cracks and sweep the enemy away.

Mission/History: Atlantis was once a magnificent, independent civilization established on an asteroid, with an environment very much like Earth’s. It was ruled by a Council of Ten Kings, the sons of its first king, Poseidon. The Asteroid had an irregular orbit and eventually got caught in Earth’s gravitational pull, causing it to fall towards the planet. Sailor Atlantis (Asherah’s mother) used her sailor crystal, augmented with the powers of the Atlantean Kings, to stop the asteroid from crashing into Earth saving the lives of both the people of her planet and that of earth. The asteroid landed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, floating on the surface of the water like an island. The Atlanteans were welcomed by the people of Earth and cohabitated peacefully with them. Many years passed and the people prospered under the wise and just rule of their kings. (remember the Atlanteans have very long lives) Then, an unimaginable disaster befell them. An enormous earth quake struck, causing tsunamis large enough to sink the island. This time the kings were unable to unite their power and “in a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Atlantis disappeared into the depths of the sea.” (Plato, 360 B.C.) All was not lost. Sailor Atlantis had enough power to save the capital city from annihilation and although it sank beneath the water, it was protected by a dome of energy, sustained by the Atlantian Crystal. The city now rests safely on the bottom of the ocean, but not without sacrifice. The saving of the city and the creation of the dome required vast amounts of power, costing Sailor Atlantis her life. All but one of the kings perished in the great cataclysm: King Nereus, Asherah’s Father. After her mother’s death, the Atlantean Sailor Crystal fell to Asherah. It is now her continuing responsibility to protect the City of Atlantis.
