Down in the Lab {with Frankenstein's Monster}My first wallpaper! This is a combination of two ideas: an abandoned piece for my Spare Parts series that just wasn't working right + an idea for the long passed deviantART Halloween contest. Unfortunately I didn't get the wallpaper done in time for the contest due to computer problems and it took me much longer to finish than I had anticipated. I usually have lighter images on my own desktop, but I tend to create darker work myself. This was lots of fun to put together since Frankenstein is one of my favorite books {and the source of some of my favorite movies}. Also inspired by 3qd who I often refer to as DJ Frankenstein.
Materials used: 35mm photography, stock photos, and PhotoShop.

He has a good head.
I like the composition and the way the bits are put together, the background.
It's like the noise from behind him are reaching out and the gears in his head work at the same frequency but he isn't a part of it, he's headed in a different direction.
I like the combination of electronic, mechanical and chemical.
Very stylish.

That's an interesting texture and the composition is nice as well. Youve chosen a nice green (not too yellow and not too dark) that separates him from other things I associate with green (deviantART, The Matrix, vegetables, etc) so that's a definitely plus in his favor.
The patterns around his mouth are a little confusing. There is a pattern that goes over his nose and his far cheek, sort of a wave thing? That bothers me just because a pattern on his skin wouldn't be like that over his nose and cheek.
Other than those two bits, I like the way the patterns blend with the face and background.
