First in a series of commissioned pieces forAnd yes, it does look like Gardevoir. Lati9s said he didn't intentionally make her look this way originally but once he noticed the similarity decided to roll with it.

You. Thank you very much. I am very relieved to learn the thief's efforts failed. I didn't expect them to succeed anyway, since my Pony looks too much like a Gardevoir. I came to the conclusion the judges would spot that.
Now I just wish there had been a way for me to alert the mods that the submission was stolen art. I don't have a facebook account, so I hit that stupid ""Like" us to get started" wall whenever I went to that contest page...

its just that..i never won anything in my whole life.i entered online contsts but i keeped loseing.everytime i lost i felt like a lozer,that will never win at anything.but its been my life dream to go to comic con before i die. if its never going at all,or this year at 2012

A) Winning using Stolen Material isn't really winning no matter how bad you want it
and
B)Claiming you won, when you weren't even in the top 10 isn't going to help you either.

You will tell them the piece was not created or constructed by you and you didn't have permission to use it. You will forfeit your entry. I'm sorry, but I don't cut deals with thieves. You want to go to that Comic-Con? Do it the old-fashioned way and buy tickets. Afterall, I paid Moongaze to make this piece.

I suppose you could make a post on the official MLP Facebook page alerting the mods that run it that somebody used your art for the contest without permission and ask them to remove it, and link back to this page proving it's yours.

See, that's the problem. I can't find any emails ANYWHERE, and you can't make comments on Facebook unless you're registered there. This is so lame...
But now that I've calmed a bit, I've come to realize their thieving efforts may have been doomed from the start. I'm fairly certain the judges of that contest will notice how similar Lullaby is to a Gardevoir, and disqualify it, because one of their rules states that the Pony mustn't carry designs similar to established elements, or something to that nature. It'd be highly amusing to watch Nintendo and Hasbro duke it out over a Gardevoir Pony though.
Man, who would have thought this darling Pony would be so dang popular...
