Random crazy question, but is there a way you can add in the pop-up when you hover your mouse over a hurricane, you can add the category to the info pop-up?

Yes there is a way. Download the package again to see the tooltip showing hurricane category.

Was something changed at weather.com? My weather isn't showing up for last few days?

For an immediate fix, please change the line in Weather.ini
From :--> URL=http_://xml.weather.com/weather/local/ #WeatherCode#?cc=*&unit= #Units#&dayf=4
To :--> URL=http_://wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weather/local/ #WeatherCode#?cc=*&unit= #Units#&dayf=4
Delete the "_" after =http (that's just to avoind DA changing the line to a link.
I've updated the .Rmskin package but if you download the whole package you'll over-write all your custom settings - I guess I could stop this but there are eight separate config files.

Cool, thanks for always supporting your skins!!
Edit, I'm sure you already know this, but just changing xml to wxdata in the url worked for me.

Mordasius:I just came across your work 'awesome' I am having no luck on changing the weather location for my area. I right click to change location and nothing any suggestions. Thanks

1) Get your weather code by going to www.weather.com/ and typing your location in the Search box on the right. Then look in the address bar in the top-left to find a number code like UKXX0085:1:UK. That is the WeatherCode you need.
2) Right-click anywhere on the weather skin and select the option -> Change Weather Location. That will open the file ..Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\STALKER-LA\aResources\Variables\UserVariable.inc. In the section marked [Weather Variables] enter WeatherCode=UKXX0085:1:UK or whatever your weather code is.
3) Save the UserVariable.inc file then right-click anywhere on the weather skin and select the option Refresh Skin.

Hello Mordasius
I was wondering how I can remove the grey overlay on the weather part, that is, as it is now when you move your mouse over the weather symbol (sun, clouds, etc..) it turns to color, how can I make the color default?
Thanks again for this... the best rainmeter skin ever made!!!

Love love love love. Can't get enough of it. I wish there was a way to make Rainmeter force every window that displays on my screen conform to the size of the window created within the frame. Then it'd be more like an awesome HUD... that would rock. I'm afraid even with displayfusion, this would be a rather huge pain in the ass to attempt to do...

Hello, for some reason I can not get the image of the moon to show in the time-date part.
I tried an experiment and I renamed the Moon image folder, then the moon would appear (but if you refresh time/date it vanishes)
I even re-installed the latest version and still I cannot get the moon image to show?
Anyone else having this problem?

Mordasius In reply to ShadowTek-Z [2015-01-12 11:00:07 +0000 UTC]
The moon image will only appear during the time between moonrise and moonset and you won't see much of an image around the new moon. Do be sure that you set your Latitude and Longitude by right clicking on the skin and selecting "Set Latitude and Longitude".

Dear chap,
I made it and the problem is the same, and Process or Mem make the same error. It's closing Rainmeter.
In UserVariables the HWINFO64 is not in the good directory, U need to change it in "C:\Program Files\HWiNFO64\HWiNFO64.exe"
The way to find Users Récent Docs is different,
For exemple mine is "C:/Users/xxx.xxx/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Recent/"
Where can I changing it
Best regards

Sorry, but I've no idea what is going on with the TopProcesses.dll plugin on your machine. They work with Windows 7 on both my 32bit and 64bit machines. Try downloading and installing the skins again in case I mixed up the 32bit and 64bit versions in the .rmskin uploaded yesterday. You should change everything in UserVariables.inc to the correct values for your machine. The path to 'Recent Files' is set automatically in the latest version.

Hi chap,
In the Rainmeer Directory I don't have the TopProcesses.dll plugin and a "Memory.dll" plugin, can U give me the way to install the god one, I'm using :
3.2.0 beta r2326 64-bit (Sep 17 2014)
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (build 7601) Service Pack 1
Path: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\
IniFile: C:\Users\xx\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.ini
SkinPath: C:\Users\xx\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\
Best regards

TopProcesses.dll will be automaticaly installed in C:\Users\laurent.saguet\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Plugins when you run Lost_Alpha_2810.rmskin.
I've no idea what Memory.dll is doing in the Rainmeter directory - it is certainly not a standard rainmeter plugin. The only Memory.dll on my computer is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver\1.0

You made a very good job.
Can U tell me about "Processes" haw to configure it it's make me an error when I push the button and nothing appears in the frame.
The Button MEM as the same problem.
They need to shut rainmeter.
Best regards

Sorry. My Bad. Last time I updated the .rmskin file I forgot to include the TopProcesses.dll plugins. Pls download and re-install the Lost Alpha collection and you'll be set to go. Note that Rainmeter freezes for 3-5 seconds the first time you hit the [PRO] or [MEM] buttons. I've yet to find a way around this.

Yes it would be possible to make the small yellow and white balls indicate the time until the next sunrise or moonrise (at the moment they only show when the sun or moon is above the horizon). However, I'd have to add some calcs to get the times of the next rise and previous set. Keep an eye on your notes inbox.

Stupid question: I have been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. since 2011 (love it, love it, looooovve it) and I have recently came across Lost Alpha. Exactly what is it and where do I need to go in order to get it?

I guess it would be hard (if not impossible), but could such a rainmeter include a dosimeter of the largest cities as well, like in the Chernobyl site www.pripyat.com: pripyat.com/en/monitor ?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Mordasius In reply to Kiborg-Graph [2014-08-07 12:20:33 +0000 UTC]
That data could be displayed using Rainmeter but it seems to be a couple of years out of date. You could use maps from a site like radiationnetwork.com/Europe.ht… but I'm sure there must be much better maps / graphics that are not available to the general public.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Kiborg-Graph In reply to Mordasius [2014-08-07 12:30:57 +0000 UTC]
Erm, there's a statement in the site: "The data typically updated twice a week based on ChNPP reports and dozemetric data from our team." However, I won't argue, it's just that pripyat.com was the first site where I saw such an option; to examine the radiation levels in the largest cities.

I love this skin. Great job. But how come when I refresh all it all stacks at the side. It won't stay where I put it. I thought maybe it was because I'm at 1600x900 instead of 1920x1080, but I changed the res and it still stacks up on the sidebar.

Thanks. S.T.A.L.K.E.R Lost Alpha is about as atmospheric as games get and it's absolutely free with enhanced textures, bumpmaps, shaders, effects and audio mods being added all the time.
