the sea is not good, anyway I'm not good at painting and I still try to figure out the painter IX but I like the whole.maybe I'll work on it more some other day...

I like the expansive background, and think you needn't change anything about it. I like it because it looks vast and unending. The water looks deep in color and depth, suggesting the total immersion that is to come. The sky is thick and heavy, but unclear, which will be in contrast to the clarity of seeing under the water.
Your character is leaving the ordinary world and entering the world of adventure. I like that she is see-thru at this point, as it suggests to me that her "state" is incomplete, and with the coming adventure (or with the focus of work), she will complete herself.
I like your control of her hair (if it had been me, I know I'd have made big hair everywhere, so I like your treatment here), and I like the focus on her task in her sweet face.

i've just read your note. i'm amazed that you got every "sign" in it before reading the little story. i wasn't aware of all of them myself..
so my seek for unision continues in a wavy ocean and hearing from people sharing same 'waves' makes me so happy...

i really like this piece....and since you plan on working on it
i think you should add somethin (be it an object or just different hues of color) to the left of the piece but just somethin enough to pull your eyes around the piece, you have the subject in the best position along with her fins, they lead your eye to the ocean which keeps my eye at the bottom of the piece....try adding some of the dark values from the ocean in the sky or somethin....just a suggestion, u dont have to do it.
i really like how u made her transluscent, it makes her soo distinct, i dunno...take that any way u want.
