My character, Eli. He's 40-something, has great style but no tact, a sharp mind and a terrible temper and, oh, right, he's a magician. Only not the rabbits-out-hats sort: we're talking calling upon the power of eldritch abominations!

Practically everything he does revolves around magic and research. Even turning the simple joy of playing music into an elaborate summoning ritual, I bet.

I forgot how to draw halfway through the background. Reference was used for the viola, but I have a sneaking suspicion I still borked up the hands. Leave me alone, I'm a trumpet player, I don't know how strings work!

Based on a li'l story I wrote where he tricks his friend into helping with the aforementioned melodious summoning ritual. That. That's not very nice, man.
