Morgan Fire Stables had been attending a show near the Kenwick Equine Center facility so thanks to the kind owner, Tee had been allowed to turn out her horses in the pastures for the day before the intensive eventing competition. Zan grazed alone, oblivious to tomorrow's fast pace. He didn't make much effort to speak with the other KEC horses turned out as he had found a particularly juicy clover patch.

Just by chance, a whinny caught his attention and he raised his head just in time to see a beautiful raven black mare prancing away from her handler into the pasture. He knew he had seen her before somewhere...at a show perhaps? No he would have remembered a lovely trot like that. Maybe the last time he came here for a few days and got to visit with his daughter Bow?

That was it! She was the one who had been pastured next door that had caught his eye! He was sure he recognized her pretty little blaze.

"Be smooth...be smooth" The silver stallion murdered to himself as he raised his head a little higher, trotting in her direction. "Be...cool...yeah" He put on his best grin, prancing up beside her.

"Excuse me but, have we perhaps met before? I recognize that pretty face of yours!" Dawn glanced at him, her heart pounding a bit, definitely recognizing the tall stallion she had laid eyes on a few months before. She started to nod her head, but then remembered some advise she'd gotten from another mare.

"Play it cool..." She thought to herself.

She looked up at him, arching her neck a bit "Why do you need to know?" She raised her tail with a grin, trotting off deeper into the pasture as Zan snorted

"Damn...reeeegected! Time for another approach..." Zan began to walk off after her.
