This creature is a hybrid of ancient predatory mermaids and humans. Due to the structure of the body, it hunts people and curious animals. It usually shows only the upper half of the body from under the water. It kills the victim either with a weapon (it can be anything, not just a trident), or with the mouth of an alligator. It is a species of freshwater mermaid that lives exclusively in fresh rivers and lakes. They are cannibals, in a time of hunger they can devour their own kind. During hunger, the "human" part draws in its legs, wraps its arms around them and falls into a kind of "suspended animation". The whole body is covered with a dense film and becomes like an egg. At this time, such a mermaid is the most dangerous, since the body is completely controlled by the "animal" part.
