This creature is considered the second mother to feed newborn demons. Like the roots that feed a tree, she feeds small demons who find it difficult to devour a person whole. She feeds them with small eyes that grow on her roots-horns like apples. According to legend, she lives under dead trees. When in the old days houses were built from wood, someone could use wood from her house. So the expression "the walls have eyes" appeared. This is how the expression "the walls have eyes" appeared, because they literally grew in the walls of such a house.
