It never ceases to amaze me how amazing your vistas are. I love the armor and weapons and such, but the torn landscapes and ravaged cities manage to still be breathtaking with a setting sun behind them.

Am I the only one who realising this ISN'T warhammer 40k? Seriously, there are big pauldrons and a ship that looks vaguely imperial, those two things alone do not make the entire picture warhammer.

Read his comment youll see he says Warhammerish, not THIS IS A SPACE MARINE. I think its more a vague idea, hes just going witht the flow...think of it as an impressionist piece, an idea not a carbon copy.

i always wondered about those giant shoulder pads that the space marines and terminators got. it's highly unpractical, because it obstructs their side view.

Marines arent designed to hide or be super mobile, they are more like walking tanks, they know they are gunna get hit, they only go to battles that are already considered extreme, so their armor is designed for what they do (take alot of damage).

Technically they are not undead, the minds of the close-to-dead get transferred into the machines and are trapped in there eternally. I guess there weren't many to volunteer back then.
Plus, nobody knows how to build them anymore.

Overall you can say though that marines are of a higher intelligence than humans. Basically they are better at everything. Except sexing that is. Poor things.
