Description "We all get a little bit older and a little bit slower." - 'Revolution 9'

After a while, Paul starts to get irritated by the changes in his band mates. John doesn't seem to mind. Then again, he never did, unless he felt like it.
Silly George, undergoing bodily changes before I've even drawn the concepts! What a hungry, naughty fellow.
And yes, Paul's beast monster of a beard is actually an unlockable costume thingy. Although fire resistance decreases by 15, his... I think his punch-base increases. I can't remember. I'll have to check my little black notebook.

Wowzers. What a beast.

I'm still wondering why my drawings come out purple. Is my scanner suddenly part of royalty?
And I have a condition that doesn't allow me to erase guidelines. I'm recovering from it, though.

When Paul says "vampirism", he's referring to George's chompers: [link] [link]
Yikes. I'd hate to be THAT sandwich.

All grown in two panels. XD
Kinda reminds me of when I was reading 'Super Man: Red Son'
when Lex Luthor grew a stubble in a split panel. :'D

But that was only a stubble.
THIS.
This here is a full grown beard, ready to devour foes
and become a raging fire hazard. XD;

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I don't want my man to have a beard. Well, I don't mind a little stubble or scruff. Just not... ugh, just no Macca Mountain Man beard... Just... Just no... XD

Oh. I'm definitely fearing. D:
You know, now that I think about it, I don't think the Paul guy
from Abbey Road Tribute Band ever sported a beard during
their performance... Then again, I was watching kinda back stage
and getting ready for my cues and stuff, so I prolly missed it. XD;;

Abbey Road, you say?
Wait, you're in California aren't you? I think the Abbey Road tribute band you know is the same one I know! You worked with them?

That they are, that I am, and that I did.
I was part of the stringed instruments quartet that accompanied them
for the show in Visalia. We only played 'Yesterday' and 'Hey Jude'
with them, but it was awesome.
And I still have the sheet music!
Somewhere... ._.;

Ahh, yeah. Must've been somewhere else, then.
I remember looking up their touring schedule after
the show, and I was amazed at the places they'd
been to. Busy people, that they are.

TheAbbeyRoadie In reply to Moso-stuff [2012-06-26 01:13:05 +0000 UTC]

Yep yep! And that's very cool you got to play with them in the string quartet! The first time I saw Abbey Road play was a little over two years ago in their musical formerly titled "Ticket to Ride", and they had a string quartet for "Yesterday". I thought that was fantastic and it added a really nice personal touch to the show.

But things have changed since the Visalia show I mentioned. Tyson, Benny, and Robert left, found a new drummer, Luis, and started another tribute band called Britain's Finest. That's currently the crew I hang with--there were tensions within the old Abbey Road crew, particularly between the guys as a whole and Andy. So that's why they broke things off. Axel's still with Abbey Road as Ringo, though, and I keep in touch with him.

Nobody said the tribute business would be smooth sailing. haha

I saw the pictures in your gallery! I'm actually jealous
that you got their signatures and everything.
It was kinda terrifying leading the rest of my string buddies
to center stage to do the Beatles bow, though. Especially
while lugging around my hunk of a cello... I thought I was
gonna trip up and keel over from all the wires. XD;

Eh, things are bound to happen, all in all.
Sad to know they're not together, but also glad to
know that they're still rocking the music.

TheAbbeyRoadie In reply to Moso-stuff [2012-06-26 04:38:46 +0000 UTC]

The first time I met them I got their signatures, and two days later I had my first picture with them--and that picture proudly sits framed in my room. I took it to college with me too, and I'll take it with me again.

I know that feeling, minus the carrying a cello... haha
Still, that's really cool that you got to perform in the show!

Yeah, Abbey Road is still together, but they have new members in the place of John, Paul, and George. And Britain's Finest is doing really well trying to build from the ground up--recently they got the Breakfast with the Beatles Seal of Approval from Chris Carter himself! Not kidding! They even have some international shows booked already, and I heard Japan's on the list! Pretty crazy since Britain's Finest isn't even a year old yet... o.O

Wow, that's wicked.
One of my friends took a group picture of all of us
after the show. Maybe I should ask him to send me
a copy... :3c

I still have the program, too! Although the only
bummer out of the entire show, aside from having
to leave early afterwards, was that they spelled
my last name completely wrong. Oh well. I still
poke fun at it. X3

Whoa, that's pretty intense. O: It actually inspires me to
go through with the 'Yoko' idea I've had after making the
storyboard of 'Things That Never Happened'.
