WHY IS IT PURPLE?

A while back, I came up with the idea of a Beatles fighter game, where they all have punch-base (kind of like Attack stat) and music-base (kind of like Magic stat), which all develop to different levels within them respectfully, with John having the highest punch-base and Ringo having the highest music-base, despite McCartney's past-to-current successes.

Although I worked on John's move set, special attack, and bonus outfits first, I drew out Ringo's concept for his octopus ability, which he doesn't get until he unlocks or is close to unlocking 'The Key' (still under debate) to get 'Octopus's Garden', which would be like the generic super-powerful-special-attack move that has a replenishable bar.

I've later added Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix to the list of rock fighters, but I'm still working on the Beatles; I believe George is next.

But yeah, here's some short-ish descriptions:
Top row: Here I drew Ringo's default all-black outfit, and his striped-sleeve outfit from 'Help! ', both of these with what I call 'suggested silhouette', where even though the limbs intersecting don't show the outline, you can still kind of discern it.
Second row: Just a few concepts of how Ringo would look with a few tentacles out, the first with them poking out his shoulders, the smaller second with them being his arms, and the third with them coming out his shoulders and waist.
Third row: I was on a time rush, so I quickly wrote out the action I intended, and when I returned I drew it out, only I had Paul be the victim of Ringo's tentacle tie. I then drew Ringo's sort of 'true form', which has two tentacle arms, five tentacle legs, and one tentacle tie, along with starfish-like hair and a beak for lips (only the bottom one is visible).
Fourth row: After drawing McCartney's reaction, I wanted to draw John and George's as well. George has his poker face, and John has his I'm-a-give-you-suggestions-for-the-ladies face.
