UPDATE 25.05.2012 - It's now been completely colored! I decided to approach this using a slightly different method of coloring... It's been a while since I've hand colored something... Anyway, it's been altered as well to look more like the character art!(Okay, so I know I said I won't be doing anything else, but I'll let it slide just this once...)
About time I draw some of my usual fan-art! Anyway, so one evening a friend of mine showed me a pic of Princess Daisy in her Striker outfit (as in Mario Strikers, as well as Charged), and that gave me the idea of trying Rosalina out here. It's obvious that others have done their effort to portray her as such, so I might as well throw my lot in too...
... and then I went crazy with the pen. Seeing the crazy art-style of the character art was pretty much the cause. I don't even want to think of trying to color this! (but it is possible...)

My idea for her power would be like a black hole that knocks people down, and then her Mega Strike would be gathering her

Hey, you really want to see Rosalina becoming OUT OF CHARACTER, violent with her children (the Lumas) and hit them to an electric fence. She will be probably odious if she is in this game of crap.

She looks very elegant in that suit~ *0* She really would make a great fit in that game! And you really accentuated the speed lines in the action here, heading straight towards the ball.
Have you also thought to try drawing her from a regular standing angle as well? Maybe to get a full glimpse of what your take on her outfit is like?

Amazing detail, it looks like the Mario Strikers official art. Very impressive work, the bicycle kick's a tad impractical but awesome when it works.

lol, just kidding. I'm really impressed with how you drew this! Not only were you able to imitate the style of Strikers Charged, but you also gave Rosalina a very fluid motion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we were to rotate this image to the left a bit, we would see that her hair is tied, yes? Well, it looks like it anyway.

See now that is absolute striking, no pun intended. The style you chose to colour it certainly reflects the fluidity of motion and I must say, it looks quite amazing. It's an excellent piece and it's always cool to see something new from you.

Wouldn't it be great if she was in SM Strikers, though? Hopefully for the next game (if they plan on doing another one) they'll include her...can't see why they wouldn't.

Seems too bad that good ol' Rosie was not in any other games, other than the two Super Mario Galaxy games and the two Mario Kart games.
I sure wish they'd put her in more spin-off games.

Yeah, seriously, she better be in Smash 4. And I know she isn't going to unless Nintendo starts putting her in more spinoffs, but if you ask me, she's actually more deserving than Daisy. And I don't just say that because I love Rosalina more. She appeared in 2 major Mario platformers, as compared to Daisy's 1 that was handheld, and she had an important role in both without being kidnapped. That's just me though...
