My communication arts teacher made us do figures in crayon. It was fun but intimidating, he didn't specify the amount of colors to use, so most of us just used one color for each peice, but this is amazing, I'm gonna take note of using many different colors next time. i teach k -12 art in a small small town in montana. my older students thought that nothing of value could be done in crayon. i had to show them that it is just one medium in the pile of them. thank you kindly for the compliment and looking at my work.

Good for you! I LOVE crayon! It's hard to believe people don't think much of crayons still, just because we let kids use them. Firstly, kids are great artists. And second, they underestimate kids! When do kids ever complain, "I need really expensive art supplies!" They just whip out their crayons and go full throttle, because they don't limit themselves in that way.

Well, I hope you keep teaching that, because crayons are just awesome. I mean, what you said works for many more things (hee, hee), but since we were talking about crayons...

I love it! Crayon is my favorite medium for daily doodling. I've taken note of how you've intermingled the colors. Neat.

I so wish I'd had you as an art teacher when I was a kid.

i wish there were more compitant art teachers everywhere. most only know 1 or 2 types and then they skim the rest. you would have been a great student i am sure
