Description this is one of my custom holster rigs with my colt. it lays upon an elkskin handmade vest as well. this is my custom conceal carry, but its a bit to conceal and there is no need to hide it here. colts are a tool and a way of life here. the townies get a bit nervous during tourist season.

sorry man, i just laughed out loud when i saw that this is a "conceal carry" rig. that's a lot of dogleg to conceal. LOL!

awesome work.

thank you for looking at my work. the true conceal of the weapon would be a bit hard. however them seeing the front sticking out down low puts many people at a distance. i dont play well with others. again, thank you.

yes i use them for hunting and making the big hairy beasts back up a bit when they get a bit close. i dont know if you have ever watched an animal suffering to death. i would say i have had to use it most on either livestock or wildlife that were hurt past cure. keeps idiots away as well. i have a family. all know that they will fall before i do. my girls trust in me that they will always be safe. my wife counts on me as i do on her. it is all a part of our lives.

Impressive...and quite noble! Sounds like a really interesting life you guys live out there. Seems very different from my own, but quite inspirational.

your life surely has its own nobility to it. where is it that you lay your life bare?

is there much open country there? i do falconry as well, so i wonder if it is still a traditional sport there as it was a few centuries ago.

Well we live fairly close to a town, there is plenty of farmland and countryside like that in the area though.

Cool, do you have your own bird? They still do Falconry in some places over here but not as a main-stream hobby/sport and only in special groups.

Awesome, you should try and take some photos of her if you could.

Well I've always lived in this area, grew up in it, so I'm used to the mix. Close enough to the country to enjoy it when I can, close enough to the town for when I need anything.

i think is is a bit evident as to my choice in where and how. all can live life and not watch it. i know many who do and it saddens me. (not that i want more folks up here)haha

i havent anything 'arty' to say about this but being the western lover that i am i'm going to have to say how interetsing this is to see on DevArt, unconventional and (from someone who has no idea about how to manufactur a gun) beautiful. for a something that kills...interesting

nice photo as well
