Description Cranberry juice, to be specific.

Started off as a sketch.

I seriously need to study for midterms. Maths is going to just about kill me this semester. So, I'm off to study!

...Maybe.

Thanks so much; I'm really happy to be complimented by a artist of your great standing!

Really, though, thanks; how's school going?

Fairly well--getting prepared for 6-day school. I shall be learning flash soon! X3

How about you? Is the Obscura magazine going well?

Yay! That sounds so exciting! Now you can make your creations move!

I've been very busy. Obscura is going well; you should receive an e-mail from either me or the other guru updating you on your works. We'll specify which pieces made it in and which ones are out.

Gee...it looks so heartless on paper like this.

XD Haha no worries! That's what DA is for--lets lot of people look at drawings. Literary magazines are an entirely different concept. :3

It went well~ I got many things done. And yours?

IT went very well, thank you. Considering this note is a little outdated, let's bring it up to speed.

What did you think of Ardi Fafirson?

Neverjay In reply to mouse16 [2010-04-19 22:50:28 +0000 UTC]

I actually liked it! It was much better than I hoped for. It looked like they were having a lot of fun on stage.(Now all that's left is the paper I have to write on it. Aurgh!) So did you see this in pre-production as well? You mentioned that you practically knew everyone there. *curious*

mouse16 In reply to Neverjay [2010-04-20 22:08:27 +0000 UTC]

I thought it was interestingly eccentric; I liked it too. Silly papers and writing them...and stuff.

Ah, no; I didn't see it in pre-production, but I have a sewing class in the costume department which is right next to the stage so I met a lot of the behind the scenes folk. And a few of the actors would pop by from time to time to get measured for a costume or just to chat so that's how I met them. ^_^.

Just lurking, is all it took; just lurking.

Lurking like a little ninja, I'll bet. XD On that note, did you finish reading your book(again)?

mouse16 In reply to Neverjay [2010-04-21 16:26:55 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I'm so lame; I've finished it for the third time now.

By the by; which books would you reccommend? I'm afraid I've read through all of the ones (manga included) on my bookshelves. It would be much appreciated.

Hmm well, anything by Mercedes Lackey, of course. Which ooones haven't you reeeead. (srsly, I have so many.)

I would also reccomend the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett (which I could lend you or you could borrow one of the kindles) which deals with fantasy and comedy (IT IS HILARIOUS). Also:

The Neverending Story (if you love germanic fairy tales. And if you have seen the movie: much better and has a second half!)

The Last Unicorn (if you love really pretty, melancholy fairy tales.)

Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson (if you like stories that are AWESOME and the main character is totally fierce. She's so cool. Kyaa~)

Most of these I could lend. :3

Hm, I've read most of them, but not The Last Unicorn or Mistborn. I'll have to check them out from the library.

Thanks for the refferals; you've eased my boredom for the summer! Thank you!

Oh! And if you like really weird (apparently it's scary?) House of Leaves is fun too. If only for all the page-spinning XD

I've heard it's a tad creepy, but I'll read it anyway just to see.

...And wind up not sleeping for a few days. XD

XD Only if you are claustrophobic, I think. Or scared of random blue text!

Nah, my elementary school got rid of my claustrophobia and I sometimes write papers in blue text just because.

I've heard of it, but never had the pleasure of reading it. Have you ever heard of the Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss?

It's delightful.
