There's a story to this not-at-all-perfect photo.
You see, this Heron was sitting in a tree not too high up, and actually pretty close. I thought it would be fun to take a photo of him, since he's a wild animal just visiting the zoo, and it made for a great surrounding frame with the tree and leaves. I was zoomed in on his face, waiting for that one moment that I thought I'd know was *the* moment when there was a weird sound, the Heron looked up, I hit the button and ended up with this photo.
Another bird flew past - I reckon it was another Heron, a competitor maybe - and it caught his attention so well that I got a one-in-a-million shot that I'm pretty proud of even though every time I look at it I wonder: Is it even in focus?
But I like it, M allowed me to get to share my photo, so here it is in all it's unglorious glory.
