With so many Turacos, it's so hard to choose a favorite kind. This one definitely comes close for being one of the fanciest with the high crest with the white tips.

This was actually the first time they sat still and allowed us to really photograph them instead of running after them as they hopped and hid

Really hope to see these guys again this year

Species: Schalow’s Turaco (Schalows Toerako)

Latin name: Tauraco Schalowi

Originates from South central Africa.

Current status: Least Concern
