Emu chicks are just so cute looking 
Sure, they've got a kick in their feet like nobody's business, but that's mostly when they get older. This one is still so incredibly tiny, let's think of him as nothing but adorable
Species: Emu (Emoe)
Latin name: Dromaius Novaehollandiae
Originates from Australia.
Current Status: Least Concern

I wish at times it was easier to see many bird babies, but alas, only few species allow them to walk around freely (like Emus and Ducks apparently

I bet this little guy likes to cause havoc wherever his little legs take him. Emu chicks are very curious and very naughty.

He was actually pretty shy at this age - his parents also didn't allow him to roam too far - too close, and he'd hide away again!
Wish he could have grown bigger (he died in a somewhat tragic accident involving the strong legs of his parents and screaming, running kids....)
