A very curious emu who I managed to get a few shots of at Humbug Scrub Wildlife Sanctuary in South Australia.Taken on 20/7/2013.

I tried cropping it, but because I shot this horizontally, cropping it makes it square and... odd looking, haha.
If i'd have shot it in portrait, then I definitely would have cropped it so it had a rectangular composition. I'll keep it in mind for next time.

He was sorta trying to intimidate me by puffing out his chest. I think the camera made him think I was another emu or something? Either way he didn't look too coll while cautiously "dancing" around me. xD

Haha! Birds can be so odd sometimes. XD Maybe you spooked him a bit with the camera? I know cameras freak out my dog, so an emu can't be too different, right? XD
