I was rather looking forwards to using my cintiq companion while in Australia for the christmas holidays, until I got here and either buggered the charger incorrectly plugging it into Australian power or suffered an apparently somewhat common charging port issue - so back to pencils! It's been rather nice though, so I'm not complaining too much (will be a bit of a pain when I first get back to the US though T_T)Despited it not really being the most exciting game, for some reason I've been playing Dragonvale for years now, and decided to try to reenvision the some of the very cartoony dragons a bit differently.

The cintiq companion's main problem is actually it's failing power port. I actually had the same problem, and Wacom said they're actually going to send people a brand new one (with a better power port) instead of repairing it if it's mailed in. This way the problem won't just happen again with use, so that's nice :>

I got a reply from them and apparently they're out of stock with new ones currently so it would need to be repaired :/
But I can't deal with it until I get back to the U.S. anyway.

That's so weird. The guy at Wacom I called said that they're out of stock too, but could just wait till they're in stock again to send the new one (and also pay the shipping). And apparently they're getting a new shipment mid-late January, so it might not be that long of a wait.
