Fact Number 46 and this time we have quite the difficult tale to tell.

The Helltaker, a mortal who not only managed to make his way through the rings of Hell itself, but also managed to woo some of the most prominent demonic ladies of the time; including seducing none other than Lucifer themselves as they seemed to be rather intrigued by the moxie of this man...but of course, as with all good stories there is always a catch, and as such there is always a twist.

Enter Beelzebub, the lord of flies and mistress of the abyss...a Demonic Overlord banished to the Realm of Darkness long ago as a sort of penance for actions committed long ago against Lucifer. Whilst the Taker was indeed someone who enjoyed his harem, the idea of one more member was...still too tantalizing, and as such the Taker took the plunge into The Realm of Darkness, never to return as the man he once was...

You see, the Realm of Darkness (in terms of the Sentinel Verse) is connected to many places, and one of them just so happened to be the ever elusive Evernight Castle, the domain of Salem and her syndicate. It seemed that Beezlebub had been given a task by the Mistress of Grimm, acquire a mortal with enough power to 'take down' the Overlords of hell. A specific task, but one that she completed nonetheless by capturing the Taker and bringing him to the Evernight Queen. From here, The Taker's body, mind and soul would be put at the mercy of a number of members of the syndicate...

The Taker's body was transformed into an ever evolving and changing hybrid of demonic and mortal energy, plunged into trials and tribulations by the combined scientific might of Arthur Watts and the new benefactor, 'Loremaster', as well as the efforts of Doctor Finitevus and Umbrella Corporation's Albert Wesker. The Taker would endure six hundred and sixty six excruciating trials, all that would kill his mind, body and soul, crafting him into the deadliest juggernaut of a demon that could be created by mortal and immortal hands...

It was only thanks to Loremaster that the Taker, now known as Subject 67, would complete the tasks given to him and would rise out of his depths...now fully broken but obedient, albeit with the hellish rage to destroy everything that the Syndicate held dear...even as he tried to combat Salem himself, he would soon find himself knocked down a few more pegs to ensure his loyalty.

Subject 67 is Salem's Slayer, the one who rose from the depths of the Grimm Pools and ascended beyond a mortal body...he is her Hellish Beast, one of many creations and experiments that seemingly will never be the same...or at least that's what she believes. See, Loremaster may have had her own fun when deciding to look over Subject 67, and as such...perhaps if the cards were played right, the Taker may rise once more...But only if the right conditions a re met. For now, The Taker remains as one of Salem's many powerful fighters, with only the Mistress of Flies and the Science Demon to comfort him...well, more so to tend to his murderous rage.
