Mr-Goblin — University homework - Coloring of a Lineart - LAND

Description So for university, just like for the character design class, we had to colour a lineart sketch. The original sketch was made by my teacher = Frederic Saint-Arnaud.

This is my take on it. Note = this is the first digital landscape I've EVER DRAWN on this scale (beside maybe the ski I did for my Lion warrior). I'm pretty pleased with myself, even though I still have a long way to go!

;D yeah man, 3D modeling (in softimage not Zbrush) and composition in Nuke has NOTHING to do with Concept-art or illustration XD

Wow! That is fantastic work! I like your use of colors for the sky in particular, and how you weave it into everything else. Everything seems to be touched by the burning orange light of the sun. Those clouds look great, too!

thank you :I but I'm just in the beginning of my learning process! Landscapes is truely something different then drawing characters or beasts or props.. for that mater.
