Alright gang...just in time for Valentines Day, or Singles Awareness Day for those of us that don't have a significant other , Sapphira is taking a short break from her "Things Fall Apart" story arc and has decided to reprise her role as Cupid Valentina aka "The Love Hater" again this year. Once again her clip is loaded with love bullets and she's aiming straight at your heart! One can't help but wonder...is that paint or someone else's blood that she used to write on the wall with?

I definitely wanted to do something fierce, yet sexy and I think that I nailed what I was going for with her pose and her facial expression. I often draw Sapphira with that cocksure devious smirk and her eyebrows turned up, so this time I wanted to draw her with a straight face....it ended up looking like her "bedroom eyes" look, and I have NO problem with that! This was my first time trying to do a reflection, and I don't think it came out that great, but it's good to try some new things...not great, but it doesn't wreck the picture. Plus it helps that the black background and the last minute addition of the graffiti helps hide some of the imperfections of my attempt at Phira's reflection. I had actually drawn both of her feet, for once, but my scanner sucks and I had to cut her left foot out just to fit everything on the screen. That black background gives it this eerie, dark feeling...and her cold, yet sexy stare isn't helping to lighten the mood of this one either! Not one of my best pieces, but I'm fairly pleased on how this one came out!

This one also counts as an entry to 's Valentines theme, as well as my own Mr Marcus Ebony Experience Expose' Jammy Jam...as Sapphira is part black!
