Yeah...This little guy arrived in a box for me this morning, with a novel with epic new artwork in a language I'm still learning.
Meet Prince, from 1/2 Prince, a light novel series by Yu Wo. He's part of a special re-release of the first volume of the series, I'm hoping to see more of them with other volumes [which I will buy if so, as this worked out pretty well].
I've never owned anything like this ever, until now. Kinda hoping I don't find it addicting or anything, my money is reserved for future technology. Honestly thought my first geekfail purchase of a figurine would be something to do with Hatsune Miku. Guess not.

I had college last night and I was out all day today, but I'll get back up to date with my 365 tomorrow. Moosh.

It's like a guilty pleasure, having a figurine like this. I wasn't even sure how much it was until I was paying for it from my paypal xD Muchly worth it.
I didn't intend for these photos to be DA-worthy, but they came out pretty nicely. I was using a Canon 400D, I think it's called XTi Rebel over your side of the pond. Pretty standard [and now old] DSLR. The settings are actually down on the right side of the dev page.

Aperture: F/5.0
Focal Length: 43 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Cheap lens, low lighting. Tripods are saviours.

Anything but the manhua. I don't mean to insult the artist, I just don't believe her style is suited for that kind of novel.
The novel isn't sparkly ;m; such a shame when I think how many people haven't read it because of the manhua

You can probably still grab a copy. I got mine from Kingstone, after a heck of a lot of working around the language barrier, but it's apparently on YesAsia too. Worth a check if you're interested in it.
