LOL I know, the old disney store plushies were always very authentic like the characters from the movie, maybe because they also often had plastic heads like Timon. It is not easy to make the shape of the head like the characters have in the movies which is why some look so odd and I do not like them in the end. I am a perfectionist and want a character looking like those character in the movie, otherwise I wouldn´t buy XD

My Timon plushie came from the Disney store but he doesn't have a plastic head.

He is one of the newer things I guess.
When the movie came out, the first thing my dad bought was the Timon plushy and most plushies from them had those plastic heads then.
I remember I had an Abu from Aladdin and I wanted that Iago too and he had a plastic head too but my dad didn´t bought him, he said, only one and I took the little monkey XD
But they also had many characters with normal stuffed heads. We had those characters from Aristocats and I had the white cat Duchess. They had normal heads too. I also had some of the 101 Dalmatian franchise which had normal stuffed heads too.
I don´t know why some had plastic and some had normal heads, maybe those smaller ones were just not easy to make so they made plastic heads.

I think I saw him on DA before. There are more people on DA who show pictures of their TLK toys or traced lines from screenshots for bases than actual really good fanart. That´s so pathetic.
