This is my new favorite!Β I love how you made the faces so similar but gave them the appropriate differences.Β They're so clearly brothers.Β You captured Gordon's classic series face, my favorite style of face for him, perfectly.Β I can tell you also drew inspiration from Scotsman's new CGI render for the face, but toned down the eyebrows to a more realistic look.Β I can imagine him having that expression in the classic series.Β You also depicted the engines' shapes perfectly; Flying Scotsman is identical in proportion and color scheme to an A3 pacific, right down to the smokebox panels that make him identifiably an A3.Β You depicted Gordon's shape perfectly too; the running board is the correct shape, as designed by the Fat Controller, and he's got four boiler bands, not five like his predecessors.Β Just as a painting, it's stunning, but observed through the eyes of someone with knowledge of the TV Series, Railway Series, and British locomotive history, it's absolutely beautiful.Β Magnificent work, this is the best depiction of Gordon and his brother that I have ever seen!

I'm not a fan of Scotsman's CGI face, so, except maybe form (but not the SIZE) of eyebrows thisΒ is more like my headcanon. But it seems almost everyone likes Gordon's face here.
