Dress made by me, my friend helped me with the pattern.Completed October 2009. Wore at Disneyland for Halloween.

What pattern did you and your friend use?! And what fabric did you use?!

Oh kinda hard question. I used a fabric with a linen look. I wanted to go with a period correct fabric for this costume. Actual linen that I found did not have the correct colors so I went with the linen-look stuff... I think it is part linen part poly or cotton.
The pattern we used was from some 80's prom dress my friend found in her stash (we were just looking for something that had those lines on the front of the dress). The bodice was just draped and shaped right on me.
