This is a charcoal portrait of a very good friend of mine. My mates, this lovely man, and his mate all have pulled in to have evening meals together to ease the burden on our collective resources during these hard times. My dear here is actually a very attractive man physically and internally. One day we were sitting on his porch drinking and laughing when he suddenly turned to me ...roughed up his hair and beard then gave me this wild-eyed look....my camera ever ready caught him... So after many hrs. work, charcoal pencils, and paper...this is what developed.
