okay i know your comment is almost a year old now but i feel the need to clarify the difference because, i'm sorry to say this, but you're very wrong.
the simpsons explained it best: "JealousyΒ is when you worry someone will take what you have.Β EnvyΒ is wanting what someone else has."
Twilight, despite having perfectly good food on the table, wants what others eat.
And Luna, despite having power over night, wants what Celestia has, the joy of bringing sunlight.
it's envy in both instances.

She does not want the joy of bringing sunlight, she wants that ponies enjoy the night as much as they enjoy daytime.
To see them sleep instead to play during the night scared Luna that they never would enjoy the night as much as they enjoy the day.
But you can't force ponies to do so, that's not how princess would act. What to do? What to do?!
You could even say that the young and insecure Luna was scared her princess hood was not important next to Celestia's
Because you just sleep during the night, raising the moon, what for? Useless.
What if the young and insecure Luna at some point lost her princesshood because she was useless in the end?

Twilight is more upset/jealous than envious or nervous. She wanted to eat something other than soup and she hates quesadillas, the only things left. Granted... Coriander probably doesn't have Saffron yet... or he does but she's with her mom... and he has yet to open his restaurant but he probably has the dream t open one. Everyone starts somewhere.

My heart has been warmed deeply by reading this comic. i have always loved Twilight and her relationship with her brother. and she acts just like a small child would and your presentation is adorable to say the vary least. it has almost been a year to the day when i first discovered My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and right now my dinner is cooking and its the exact same thing that i had for dinner the night i watched the first two episodes of season 1. and reading this comic around the same time i saw the show and smelling the same smells has brought the magic back to me. i shall eagerly await the next few panels.
