I made the hat bigger, changed her from holding a cig to a branding iron and sanded her out a bit more! Hope you guys like her! More to come!

how do you do this? put in an armature wire base or something and then carve in detials after you put on the general shape with the clay?

Hey there! I build an armature wire frame, then add clay to the wire armature. If you're interested, I have a tutorial in my journal that sorta breaks down the process. Sometimes I do sand and add to baked sculptures...but most of the time I just add until I have the right forms...if that makes sense

To answer your question: no, I work on the whole model at once...but working on seperate sections is something I should learn...some sculptors do it..hehe.
