Wow.......My first piece of REAL non-photo/computer art in FOREVER! This is like.......a formal piece!

Okay, so this is a piece of creative conceptual art, something that only has a part of the subject matter, and starring the prop more than the actual character. In this case, it's Peanuts' Linus Van Pelt and his amazing blanket. The text that I did on this is a bunch of lyrics from "My Blanket And Me" from the Broadway Musical, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". I really like the way it came out: It's exactly as I envisioned it when I started the project. It's really big.......like, 2 sheets of paper big. I love art paper.

Now for the media list, as this is very mixed media. All of the black (outlines and text) are done in thick black print-making ink and applied with a fine tipped paintbrush. Linus' Shirt, shoe, and the yellow/blue/green/purple background are pastels (Though, she shirt and shoe are just colored, and the background is blended ((my poor finger!))). Linus' blanket is crayon. And Linus himself is colored pencil.
