Since her official G4 debut in the short Sundae Sundae Sundae, I just HAD to do a sketch of her. As well as make up some quirky personality traits for her so she's not just a klutz with sock obsession.

Minty is a candy salespony who recently moved to Ponyville to open her dream candy store. Though she and Pinkie started off as business rivals. Though Minty, being the airhead she is, was completely unaware of their rivalry until told by Pinkie. Eventually however, the two of them became good friends and maybe even more. (bite me, I can ship anything)

Though competent enough at running a candy store, Minty is on the same level as Pinkie Pie when it comes to just plain kooky. She's an absent-minded and incredibly chatty mare living only inside the bubbly-ness of her head. Also she's just a liiiiiittle bit of a klutz.

As if her name, profession and cutie mark weren't obvious, Minty is a big fans of candy, particularly... mints. But she also has a hankering for ice cream (mint chip flavoured) and pizza (with mint toppings, of course). She even loves her pancakes with mint chocolate sauce. She does, however, draw the line at coconuts and pickles.

When it comes to what she's afraid of, Minty has the absolute strangest arbitrary phobias. From tomatoes ("They're always watching, waiting for the right moment to pounce and bruise me!") to violins ("They're like freaky miniature guitars that steal your soul!") to possums ("What kind of rodent hangs upside-down?!") to jingling keys ("Fun for babies, not for Minty!") to girl scouts ("Leave me alone, I don't have any money!") to even moustaches ("My mama always said to never trust a handlebar moustache!").
