Another doodle straight into scraps!Pippi Longstockings is one of the characters from one of my favourite children's author, Astrid Lindgren. She writes marvellous, wonderful stories for children... which have a whole another level when you read them as an adult.
Pippi, for instance, has everything a kid could possibly want: a sea-captain father (absent), her own house, a horse, a monkey, a suitcase full of gold coins, and to top it off, she's the strongest girl in the world.
She's also a character who feels kind of lonely and not just a little lost, even though I only realised it when I read the books as an adult.
Oh well.

Well, from Lindgren, Pippi isn't my favourite book... but I do love them.
Like I said before, I'm 27 and it's not that long since the last time i read Pippi Longstockings... so I can't really call it a childhood memory *L* In any case, you're welcome
