You've got the style perfect, like an updated version of the pictures of samurai that you see in classic japanese art.

Good angles to his face and your colouring is good, as always, indicating the folds of his clothing with minimal effort.

Visible strokes is ok with me - lots of famous artists have left visible strokes. I think if they distracted from the overall painting that would be bad but yours seem fine - there but not in the way.

Ohh, but I like this. I wouldn't say it's really manga-styled. It seems stylised but not in a manga kind of way, you know? And yes, those sepia tones are love. Also I love how he seems friendly at the first glance but when you look at him more closely he starts looking shifty XD

Thanks! I know my style has a lot of influences from manga & comics, but it's hard to say from your own work if it's one thing or another. I didn't notice that thing about the look, but now that you mention it... XD
