I love how this drawing turned out, it's probably my new favourite drawing I made of my Koi family. In this pic, Kai (left) is 10, Ivy is 5 (middle) and Lucan is 7 (right). I made this drawing to show the differences in their designs. Kai is the only one without a transparent tail fin. Lucan and Ivy both have transparent fins but Lucan's fins are a warm grey tone and Ivy's are a light cold grey. Also, she's got the longest fins out of the three kids and the lightest shades in her tail itself (less orange tones).Man, just a year ago I drew Kai for the first time, as a baby! And now I've drawn him older than I ever have before. I think it's time to draw them younger again cause they grow up way too fast
