Β Hi everyone! Been a while since I posted. I've been drawing but it's for work and I'm not allowed to upload them, which sucks. In other news, I'm a sailor now.
Anyway. The girl is Hannig Haigasdaughter. In Arinhall, she and Ruso always joked about getting married because no one else would have them. Hannig had a bad reputation for flirting round. Ruso had a bad reputation, full stop. Then life fucked up and they didn't marry, and nobody lived happily ever after.

Do you use photo referencing for your sketching? The poses feel very 'real' and organic

Thank you! Sometimes I do but not for this one. As a rough guide - if they're standing I probably drew it free. If the angle or pose is dynamic I might have used photos. And if I use photos I trace, because if it's not my pose anyway, why go halfway? XDΒ
(life is ok, just doing my thing, training and sailing and the occasional job. What about yourself? Been wondering what you're up to now and where you are.)

Depends what you mean by getting along lol. They were compatible...in a way. But they would've argued. They're compatible in the sense that Hannig can be bitchy and demanding and cruel, and Ruso's ok with that.
But he'd snap once in a while, and she wouldn'tΒ take him seriously and he'd be unhappy, but he likes being unhappy, so everyone's happy.

Ruso's just in serial killer mode lol. To him, affection = giving protection and subordination. So essentially he shows he likes you by being your mindless and heartless soldier.
